STENAPA’s first Marine Information Series was well received and attended with Dr Dorette Courtar saying “Very interesting and enlightening evening. Exactly what Statia needs”. We are happy to see the mixed crowd and are looking forward to seeing even more come to the series in the future.

The public has been asking for STENAPA to provide information and now we have begun the process. All will benefit if locals will take advantage of this opportunity.

Malachi, a fisherman stated “The state of St Kitts fisheries serves as a warning to protect our fisheries, which I believe are balanced” and Kay Boyd, a board member of STENAPA expressed “I am happy to see what STENAPA is doing. I am enthusiastic to see this being done for all the parks”.

Look out for notices of the upcoming session which will be on ‘Pollution and other threats to the Marine Park.
